Top Five Friday: Winter Activities in Colorado

Colorado becomes a winter playground for a few months of the year. (Let’s be real, it snows until June!) If you are planning a holiday to Colorado soon, here are some fun winter activities to try.

Ski/ Snowboard: Duh. This is the best winter activity in Colorado. Our favorite spots: Winter Park, Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail… you can’t go wrong!

Snowmobiling: We went snowmobiling near Sailda last winter and it was sooooo much fun! Remember to dress warmly! (Or like a ninja!)

Snowshoeing: We rented snowshoes near Lake Dillon and took off on a winter hike. This is a winter activity for all ages and abilities… it’s just hiking in snow!

Tubing: Fun for kids and adults alike! We went to the Frisco Adventure Park and had a blast going down the hill on the tube.

Hot Springing: Nothing is better than a warm soak after a long day on the slopes. Here are our favorite hot springs: Mt Princeton Hot Springs, Glenwood Hot Springs, Strawberry Park Hot Springs
